Meg Sweeney

Updated: Feb 13

Meg Sweeney is a parent of three adult children and lives in Jervis Bay, the land of the Jerrinja people. She plays an active role in the life of her eldest daughter, Jos, who lives with disability, with the goal that Jos will enjoy a life of health, happiness, and fulfillment within the community, alongside her peers.  For over 30 years, they’ve been walking the Road Less Travelled towards authentic inclusion for people with disability.  Over that time Meg has shared their experiences with many other families, some of whom will join her behind the microphone... because it might be the road less travelled, but it's not deserted. Hear about the influence and impact that connections to other families can have on building a positive future and inclusive life for people with disability.
